Training runs in soccer
The training runs for soccer allow developing the main muscular groups and the cardiovascular system. They are only a part of training because some complex movements require specific events.
The event distribution is depending on the person (age, shape, motivation, objective, etc.).
Running events on 5000 m:
Long races are a basic work to do essentially in the winter to improve the endurance.
Running events on 400 m:
Two or three times a week, it is recommended to run five to ten 400 m with recoveries of one minute. These events allow developing the aerobic and lactic anaerobic qualities.
Running events on 50 m:
Three or four times a week, it is recommended to run ten to twenty 50 m with normal recoveries. These events allow developing the speed qualities required by quick actions. Possibly, climbing sprints are recommended.
